Tech-ish Tip Tuesday- Integrations!!

I just need to start this off by saying, I fricken LOVE integrations!!! It’s Tuesday, which means it is time for a Terrific Tech-ish Tip. The motto for today is work smarter with the tools you already have right in front of you!

Are you currently using Microsoft products? Are you using them to their full capability to make your life easier? I love automation and integrations, especially when it comes out of the box with no customization needed! There is a great stack of solutions that are all amazing on their own for keeping people organized. I was using D365 Sales to manage activities, my calendar to manage meetings, Planner to manage my big to-do’s list, and Outlook flag in my inbox to manage the open items before they are filed away.

Did you know all those activities, open items, to-do’s roll up to one place?! Tasks are created when you use Planner, D365 activities, or flag an email. With the new version of Outlook, when you select ‘My Day’, all those items will show in one place. With the new version, you even now have the ability to drag and drop a conversation from your inbox to the ‘My Day’ pane and it will create a task or event for you!! There are so many solutions available now that just simply make life easier. When I don’t have to focus on remembering my to-do list or where to look for those items, I can focus on the important parts of my day and focus on helping those around me.
